Mohegan Sun is a 240-acre casino and entertainment complex on the Mohegan Indian Reservation in Uncasville, Connecticut, United States, along the banks of the Thames River. It is owned and operated by the federally recognized Mohegan Tribe. The resort opened in 1996 and has since become one of the largest casinos in the United States by gaming space.
