Highland Park is a city in Lake County, Illinois, United States. A suburb of Chicago, it lies about 25 miles (40 km) north of Downtown Chicago. Per the 2020 census, the population was 30,176. Highland Park is located on the North Shore of the Chicago metropolitan area. According to the United States Census Bureau, the median household income in Highland Park exceeded an estimated $159,567 in 2022.
