Rimi Sen, also known professionally as Rimi or Rimii, is a former actress and producer from India, who appeared in Hindi, Telugu, and Bengali films. She made her debut as a lead actress in 2002, in the Telugu film Nee Thodu Kavali. In 2003, she made her Hindi film debut in the comedy film Hungama for which she gained numerous nomination including filmfare award for best female debut, IIFA award for star debut of the year-female, Star screen award for most promising newcomer, Stardust award for superstar of Tommorow-female and also nominated for zee cine awards for best female debut for her role in hungama and Baghban.She won Andolak puraskar award for best female debut for her role in hungama.Subsequently, she appeared in several successful films including Baghban (2003), Dhoom (2004), Garam Masala (2005), Kyon Ki (2005), Deewane Huye Paagal (2005), Phir Hera Pheri (2006) and Golmaal: Fun Unlimited (2006).After these films she became a superstar and most entertaining actress of 2000s.She is known for her acting skills,comedy role,dancing skills and her beauty.Shs produce a film Budhia singh-born to run for which she won a national award for best children film.She also received multiple nomination and awards.She also participated in the reality television show Bigg Boss in 2015. After quitting the entertainment industry, she works as a real estate agent in Dubai.
