Alesha Anjanette Dixon is an English singer, rapper and television personality. She gained recognition in the early 2000s as a member of the R&B and garage group Mis-Teeq, who had seven consecutive UK top 10 singles, two top 10 double platinum albums, and sold over 12 million records worldwide. After Mis-Teeq disbanded in 2005, Dixon pursued a career as a solo artist, releasing the albums Fired Up and The Alesha Show in 2008, the latter of which produced the hit singles "The Boy Does Nothing" and "Breathe Slow" and earned her a Brit Award nomination. She went on to release the albums The Entertainer (2010) and Do It for Love (2015).
